The new DG of health Dr. Robed Amin

As Director General of the Department of Health Professor Dr. Mohammad Robed Amin has been appointed by the government. Professor Dr. He is going to replace Abul Basar Mohammad Khurshid Alam after his resignation.
This information was informed in a notification signed by MK Hasan Zahid, assistant secretary of health care department of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on Sunday (August 18).
Professor Robed Amin was Director of Non-Communicable Disease Control (NCDC) Division of the Department of Health. He is a medical specialist. Since January 7, 2021, he has been serving as the director of NCDC.
And the Director General of the Department of Health, Professor Dr. ABM Khurshid Alam's contract has been canceled by the government. A notification in this regard has been issued under the signature of Kaniz Fatema, Deputy Secretary of the Ministry of Public Administration's contract and foreign recruitment wing.
It is said that Professor Dr. As per the agreement executed with Abul Bashar Mohammad Khurshid Alam, the remaining term of contractual appointment in the post of Director General of the Directorate of Health has been cancelled.
