The new press secretary of the Prime Minister paid tribute to the portrait of the Father of the Nation

The new press secretary of the Prime Minister paid tribute to the portrait of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman with flowers. Naeemul Islam Khan.

On Saturday (June 8) morning, he paid tribute to Bangabandhu's portrait at number 32 in Dhanmondi.

After the tribute, the newly appointed press secretary of the Prime Minister. Naemul Islam Khan said, this is an incredible opportunity for me. It is a matter of great pleasure and honor for me.

He said, I will try to help Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina with my knowledge, intelligence and hard work. I will try to convey the way the Prime Minister is working for the overall welfare and development of the people of Bangladesh to the media and the common people in the country and abroad.

In response to the journalist's question about how much of a challenge he thinks the new responsibility is, he said, I think the challenge is actually the prime minister's. We may not adequately represent the challenge he is facing and working to move the country forward. Can't figure it out. This inability of ours is unfortunate for us.

'We will all try to overcome our weaknesses with the cooperation of all. I will properly present his great works in front of people.'

Prime Minister's Deputy Press Secretary MM Imrul Kayes, KM Shakhawat Moon, Prime Minister's Assistant Press Secretary ABM Sarwar-e-Alam Sarkar were present.

Earlier on Thursday (June 6) Naemul Islam Khan was announced as the new press secretary of the Prime Minister and a notification was issued by the Ministry of Public Administration.

It should be noted that Prime Minister's Press Secretary Ihsanul Karim Helal passed away on March 10. The post has been vacant since then. Naeemul Islam Khan was newly appointed to this post.
