The new registrar of BSMMU is Professor Nazrul Islam

Professor Dr. has been appointed as the new registrar of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU). Nazrul Islam. He was working as a professor in the department of radiology and imaging (neuroradiology) of the university.

On Saturday (September 7), the additional registrar of the university Dr. Md. This information was informed in an office order signed by Delwar Hossain.

According to the office order, the university's radiology and imaging (neuroradiology) department teacher Dr. Md. Nazrul Islam was given the post of Registrar (Acting) in addition to his own duties.

It is known that Professor Dr. Md. Nazrul Islam passed SSC in 1984 and HSC in 1986 under Dhaka Board. He obtained his MBBS degree from Sher-e-Bangla Medical College in 1994. During his academic career, he has obtained FCPS, MD (Doctor of Medicine) and MPhil degrees. In his teaching career, he is engaged in teaching as an assistant professor, associate professor and currently professor in the department of radiology and imaging of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University.

According to BSMMU sources, Professor Dr. Md. Nazrul Islam has 36 publications including indexed and non-indexed in various journals of the country and abroad. He has participated in various trainings and conferences related to medical services and medical services held in different countries including Bangladesh, Singapore, Germany. Dr. Md. is an expert in providing ultrasound, x-ray, CT scan and MRI reports. Nazrul Islam worked as a medical officer in modern Sardar Hospital in Habiganj during his career.
