The new vice-chancellor of the National University is Professor Amanullah

Professor Dr. has been appointed as the new Vice-Chancellor of the National University. ASM Amanullah. He is a professor in the Department of Sociology at Dhaka University (DU). He will replace Professor Mashiur, who is a teacher in the same department and recently resigned from the National University.

The Ministry of Education issued a circular on Tuesday (August 27). This information was informed in the notification signed by the Deputy Secretary of Secondary and Higher Education Department of the Ministry of Education.

According to the terms of appointment, his tenure as Vice-Chancellor will be four years from the date of joining. In this post, he will get the same amount of salary and allowance as his current post. He will enjoy other benefits related to the post as per the rules and will be permanently stationed in the University campus.
