According to the notification, the price of acidic gold has increased in the local market. The new price of gold is fixed keeping in view the overall situation. The new rates will be effective from Monday (May 20). The best quality or 22 carat (11.664 grams) gold is priced at Tk 1 lakh 19 thousand 544, 21 carat gold at Tk 1 lakh 14 thousand 109, 18 carat at Tk 97 thousand 803 and Sanatan method at Tk 80 thousand 866. will be sold.
Although the price of gold has increased, the price of silver has remained unchanged. According to the category, currently the price of 22 carat silver is 2 thousand 100 taka, 21 carat is 2 thousand 6 taka, 18 carat is 1715 taka and the price of traditional silver is 1 thousand 283 taka.
On Saturday (May 18), the new price was increased by 1 thousand 178 taka to 1 lakh 18 thousand 460 taka.

On May 7, Bajus announced an increase in the price of gold by Tk 4,502 per bar. According to that price, the best quality (22 carat) gold is Tk 1 lakh 17 thousand 281 per load (11.664 grams), 21 carat gold is Tk 1 lakh 11 thousand 951, 18 carat is Tk 95 thousand 959 and traditional gold is Tk 79. It will be sold for 338 thousand rupees.
