The Proteas were stopped at 113 runs by the bowling cannon of the Tigers

After losing 4 wickets for 23 runs under the devastating bowling of Tanzim Shakib and Taskin Ahmed, South Africa turned to the pair of David Miller and Hendricks Klaasen. The two made a partnership of 79 runs. Liton Das missed a catch by Liton Das Miller. In the end, the Proteas did not capitalize on the controlled bowling of the Tiger bowlers. Bangladesh need to score 114 runs to win.

The Proteas won the toss and elected to bat at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York on Monday (June 10). Pacer Tanjim Hasan Shakib's bowling ball started to wash South Africa. After that, David Miller and Heinrich Klaasen put up resistance together.

After winning the toss and batting, Protea opener Quinton de Kock hit a six and a four in the first over of the innings. However, pacer Tanjim Shakib brought success to Bangladesh in this over. He dismissed opener Reza Hendricks. However, de Kock tried to continue the aggressive batting. However, in the third over of the innings, Tanzim came back to bowl and bowled de Kock.

After that, Proteas captain Aiden Markram and Tristan Stubbs tried to handle the initial shock. However, South Africa is under huge pressure after losing another couple of wickets in the team's 23 runs. Markram scored 4 runs off 8 balls and Taskin Ahmed sent him back to Sajghar. After his dismissal, Miller returned after being bowled by Rishad Hossain. He scored 29 runs off 38 balls.

At the end of the allotted 20 overs, South Africa collected 113 runs, losing 6 wickets. For Bangladesh, Tanjim Shakib took 3 wickets and Taskin took 2 wickets.
