Three youths were injured in firing by miscreants in Lohagara, Narail. The injured were first taken to the Lohagarh 50-bed Upazila Health Complex, and one seriously injured was referred to the Khulna Medical College Hospital. Two others have been admitted to Lohagarh Upazila Health Complex.
The incident took place in front of Jalil Sikdar's house near Kamthana New Para Bridge of Lohagara Upazila on Sunday (August 18) around 8:30 pm. The injured are Sohag Sikder (35) son of Mizan Sikder of Charkarfa village of the upazila, Mithun Sikder (32) son of Choban Sikder of the same village and Leon Sikder (30) son of Obaidur Sikder.
The injured were first taken to the Lohagarh 50-bed Upazila Health Complex, but the seriously injured Sohag Sikdar was referred to Khulna Medical College Hospital as he was shot in the chest and back. 2 others have been admitted to Lohagarh Upazila Health Complex due to minor injuries.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Lohagarh police station Kanchan Kumar Roy said, I went there as soon as I came to know about the incident. However, the cause of the incident is yet to be known.
