Entertainment gossip and news from Newsweek’s network of contributors

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are reportedly planning to attend the coveted event of Coachella to support their friends Lana Del Rey and Jack Antonoff, who will be performing.

Lana Del Rey is one of Coachella’s headliners, along with Tyler, the Creator and Doja Cat, as Jack Antonoff will be playing alongside his band Bleachers. “They both want to see Lana Del Rey and Bleachers,” a source from Us Weekly shared.

The same insider disclosed that the iconic couple will be “renting a house in the area” for one of the festival’s two weekends, scheduled for April 12-14 and 19-21.

Additionally, another source divulged that Kelce, 34, is scheduled to film a commercial in Los Angeles during the April 12 weekend, ensuring his presence in the area.

“Taylor is very excited about the opportunities Travis is getting and fully supports him,” another unknown source told Us Weekly. “[But] she wants him to be conscious of his schedule. The only issue is making sure they can see each other.”

Antonoff holds a prominent position as both a close confidant and creative partner to Swift, having served as her co-writer and producer for a significant portion of her illustrious career. Their collaboration spans the past decade, as he collaborated on Swift’s last five studio albums: Reputation, Lover, Folklore, Evermore, and Midnights.

Swift, 34, has also forged a close creative bond with Del Rey. Antonoff’s simultaneous production of their albums underscores this connection, further highlighted by their joint effort on the track Snow on the Beach.

“Lana Del Rey, in my opinion, is one of the best musical artists ever. The fact that I get to exist at the same time as her is an honor and a privilege and the fact that she would be so generous as to collaborate with us on this song is something I’m going to be grateful for for life,” Swift said in her announcement of the song.
