Truck-private car collision, 2 killed

A collision between a truck and a private car took place in Tangail's Kalihati. Two were killed in the clash. Four others were injured.
The accident took place in front of the Bangabandhu Textile Engineering College (BTech) in Bagutia on the Tangail-Mymensingh regional highway around 2.30 am on Thursday.
The injured were rescued and sent to Tangail General Hospital. The victims have not been identified till Friday morning.
Elenga highway police outpost in charge Mir Md. Sajedur Rahman confirmed the death of the two and said that the private car bound for Mymensingh collided with the truck bound for Tangail when it reached Bagutia area. Two died on the spot. Four others were injured. Attempts are being made to identify the victims.
