US presidential candidate Donald Trump has threatened that Mark Zuckerberg will spend the rest of his life in prison if he does anything illegal in the upcoming presidential election. Donald Trump accused Mark Zuckerberg of conspiracy during the 2020 election. He also warned against doing so again in the upcoming November polls.
Trump's new book titled Save America is about to be published. The book also includes an undated photo of a meeting with Zuckerberg at the White House while he was president.
Trump wrote there, “Come to meet me in the Oval Office (the official workplace of the President of the United States). He (Zuckerberg) used to bring his very beautiful wife to dinner. One would dress as beautiful as one could be. Always conspired to install the shameful lock box in a real conspiracy against the President.
Zuckerberg and his wife Priscilla Chan cited a $4.2 billion donation to Trump's campaign infrastructure fund during the 2020 presidential election, Politico reported.
The former president claimed that Zuckerberg told him at the time that there is no one like Trump on Facebook. But at the same time he turned against me.
We are watching him (Zuckerberg) closely, Trump warns in the book. If he does something illegal this time, he'll have to spend the rest of his life in prison—as will the others who cheated in the 2024 presidential election.
Last July, the Republican presidential candidate wrote on his Truth social platform that if elected, he would take election fraud to an unprecedented level and send them to prison for long periods of time.
“We already know who you are,” Trump wrote. Don't do it! Zuckerbucks, be careful.
Meta, however, did not comment on the former president's allegations and warnings. Zuckerberg sent a letter to House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan earlier this week. There, senior officials in Joe Biden's administration repeatedly pressured Facebook to 'censor' Covid-19 content in 2021.
The Meta CEO noted in the letter that he believed the government's pressure was misplaced. He also expressed regret for not talking about it at that time.
Zuckerberg has announced that he will not compromise Facebook's overall values because of pressure from both sides of the administration. He will remain politically neutral ahead of the November election.
