Voters increased to 12 crore 76 lakh

After the third phase update, the number of voters in the draft voter list has increased to 12 crore 76 lakh 12 thousand 384 people.
On Sunday (November 2), Election Commission (EC) Secretary Akhtar Ahmed gave this information to reporters.
He said, now there are 12 crore 76 lakh 12 thousand 384 voters in the country. Among them 6 crore 47 lakh 60 thousand 382 male voters and 6 crore 28 lakh 50 thousand 72 female voters. There are 1 thousand 230 Hijra voters.
He also said that the final voter list will be published after the objections. From September 1 to October 31, 13 lakh 4 thousand 880 new people have joined. Parliament will be elected with this voter list. Claims and objections will be applicable only to these newcomers. The others have it first.
Note that the final voter list is scheduled to be published on 18th of this month.
