Walton 4th National Women's Sestoball Tournament begins Wednesday

The 'Walton 4th National Women's Sestobol Competition-2024' is going to start from tomorrow (21st August, 2024) with the participation of eight teams. The two-day competition will continue till Thursday at the Captain Mansoor Ali Handball Stadium.

A press conference was organized at the meeting room of the handball stadium today on Tuesday afternoon to give details about this competition. The press conference was attended by the sponsoring company Walton Hitech Industries Plc Advisor (Sports) F.M. Iqbal Bin Anwar (Don), Senior Deputy Executive Director Rabiul Islam Milton, General Secretary of Bangladesh Sestobal Association Jharna Akhtar and others.

In the press conference it was announced that 8 teams will participate in Walton 4th National Women's Chesstoball Competition. The teams are Bangladesh Ansar, Jamalpur District Sports Association, Zahirul Sports Academy, Dhaka District, Paran Makdum Sports Club, Narayanganj Sporting Club, Eden College and Mirpur Systoble Sports Academy.

8 teams will be divided into two groups and first the group stage games will be played. The top four teams from the group stage will play the semi-finals. From there two teams will play the final. Trophies and medals will be awarded to the champions, runners-up and third placed teams of the competition. Apart from this, the best players will be awarded.

FM Iqbal bin Anwar (Dawn) told the press conference, 'Earlier we sponsored the Walton family in the first, second and third national cestoball competitions. This time, I extended my sponsorship to the fourth national women's competition. The Walton Group welcomes any new game. Want to promote new game.
