Want to build democracy, equality and humane Bangladesh: Fakhrul

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said, “We want a new Bangladesh with the aim of organizing the victory of the students and the masses. We want to build a democratic Bangladesh, a country of equality and human rights.” Dr. We will extend our utmost support to the interim government led by Muhammad Yunus.

He said these words after reciting Fatiha and prayers at the grave of BNP founder President Ziaur Rahman on the occasion of the 44th founding anniversary of the Volunteers on Monday (August 19).

BNP Joint Secretary General Habib Un Nabi Khan Sohail, Dhaka Metropolitan North BNP Member Secretary Aminul Haque, Sechsevak Dal President SM Jilani, General Secretary Rajeev Ahsan and thousands of leaders and activists of the organization were also present on the occasion.

Mirza Fakhrul said, I have prayed for the forgiveness of the soul of the martyr President Rahman, the promoter of multi-party democracy, the shaper of prosperous Bangladesh. Today we have taken an oath, we will let the victory won by the student movement be a relief.

Stating that we are taking measures for the release of those who are in prisons of the democratic movement, he said, “We are giving maximum support to the interim government that has been formed under the leadership of Dr. Yunus after the fall of the government.” We are working to strengthen the team.
