Hasan Mahmud said, 'Iran got the opportunity to attack after Israel attacked the Iranian embassy in Syria. We hope that the responsible states will play a role in stopping the war.'
He said that the indiscriminate killing of women, children and ordinary people in Gaza is a crime against humanity, and we want it to stop immediately.
Iran attacked Israel on Saturday night (April 13) local time. Attacks were also launched from Iraq, Syria and Yemen.
Regarding the attack, Israel says that more than 300 drones, cruise and ballistic missiles have been launched. Israel's defense force, the IDF, claimed on Sunday that most of Iran's missiles and drones had been intercepted.
However, a number of missiles and drones hit a base in southern Israel, IDF spokesman Daniel Hagari said, causing minor infrastructure damage. Besides, one person was injured in the attack.
