A group of Maine coon cats has left the internet in stitches with their hilarious attempt to join their owner in the bath.

The water-loving kittens were filmed by the tub, with some eagerly begging to climb in. The footage, posted to TikTok, has amassed 1.4 million likes and 8.3 million views.

“POV: Trying to have a bath but you have Maine Coon kittens and they want to swim,” reads the text overlay of the clip, shared by the owner and breeder from Utah, who posts under the handle @greekgardenmainecoons.

The video features an especially vocal orange kitten leading the pack, meowing fervently and trying to scale the tub to join the fun. Not far behind, another orange kitten and a black one follow in their sibling’s pawprints, with the second orange kitten adding its cries to the chorus.

As the camera pans, it reveals three more Maine coons eagerly awaiting their turn, with one more lounging in a box behind them—clearly more interested in a snooze than a swim.
