What is happening in the name of teacher resignation is not acceptable: Sargis

Sarjis Alam, one of the co-ordinators of the anti-discrimination student movement, said that what is happening in the name of resignation of teachers across the country is not acceptable. He also said that those who are forcing teachers to resign should be brought under the law.

Sarzis said these things in a post on his verified Facebook ID on Friday (August 30) evening. “Taking the law into one's own hands, doing mob justice is never acceptable,” Sarzis said.

Sarzis wrote in the post, 'The process that is taking place across the country in the name of teacher resignation is unacceptable. If anyone abuses the power of the fascists and does injustice to other teachers or students, they should be systematically investigated by law. But taking the law into one's own hands, mob justice is never acceptable.'

Sarzis also writes, 'The relationship of respect and affection between teacher and student can make our learning environment beautiful, the relationship should not be one of bitterness, distance, or fear.'

Sarjis Alam said, 'Many students may not know that they are being used by other teachers for personal or political gain. Legal action should be taken against those who are doing these things in unfair process for various purposes.'
