What Sheikh Ahmadullah said about what to do to get relief from the heat wave

The heat is blowing across the country. This year's heat has broken the record of the last 76 years. People's lives are suffering due to the ongoing heatwave throughout the month, which will continue for the remaining two days of the month. Meanwhile, 17 people died of heatstroke yesterday. Never before in the history of the country have there been so many deaths in one day due to heatstroke. What to do to survive the heat wave? Sheikh Ahmadullah, the popular Islamic speaker of the country, spoke about this recently.

Sheikh Ahmadullah said, we are in extreme conditions in summer. Humans, animals, birds, fruits and crops are all in great danger. We constantly hear news of people dying of heat stroke. As a Muslim we have something to do from an Islamic perspective. We will do the worldly things that are to be done. Apart from this, one of the important things to do from the Islamic point of view is to understand the punishment of hell in such suffering.

Allah says in the Quran, Hellfire is much hotter than the burning heat you feel. From the hadith we know that the fire of hell is 70 times hotter than all the fires of the world.

Sheikh Ahmadullah also said that a believer who feels the fire of hell will try to escape from it by being a good person. It falls under the to-do. Whenever we feel pain, we will say – O Allah, save us from the fire of hell.

If the heat of the world's fire is like this. It is easy to imagine what happens when the sun is so close to the head even though the sun is millions of miles away. Therefore, a believer will learn from this and try to live a righteous life. We have to learn and experience from every danger. There are lessons to be learned. Whether it is the pain of summer or the severity of winter, we have to pick up the things to do from there. Because the believer's view will be – I have to go back to the hereafter.

Many of us abuse nature in summer. In a hadith of Tirmidhi, the Prophet (PBUH) said, when a person curses an object, but that object is not the object of the curse. Then the curse returned to him. So a believer will be patient. One deed we are instructed to do in summer is to provide drinking water. As it can be for humans, it can also be for animals and birds. The Prophet was asked – which donation is best? Then he said, drinking water. Through this, Rasool (pbuh) explained the drinking of water to all, starting from animals and birds.
