The adviser also said that Jamaat-e-Islami had appealed to the Home Ministry to cancel the order banning their politics. The ministry verifies the application and sends it to the law ministry for vetting. Law Ministry has scrutinized it and sent it for gazette.
The legal adviser said that the attacks on the accused in the court premises are not acceptable in any way. However, Awami League is responsible for such attacks on former ministers. This is their long-standing grudge. I don't accept it at all. Even if the police stop it, it is not allowed. That is also the responsibility of the previous government.
