Flood Forecasting and Warning Center has predicted that the flood situation in the southeast region will normalize in the next 48 hours as the floodwaters have started receding as heavy rains recede upstream. The temperature has increased since yesterday Friday. The maximum temperature in most parts of the country has increased by two to three degrees Celsius in the last one day.

But overall, normal rains may occur during this time. After that, the amount of rain may increase from next Monday. Rain may be heavy especially in coastal areas.
Bajlur Rashid, a meteorologist of the Meteorological Department, said that the monsoon is less active at the moment. Due to this, the rain has decreased. However, the monsoon may regain strength by next Monday. It may increase the amount of rain, which may last for several days.
According to the observations of the Meteorological Department, the maximum temperature in most districts of the country was between 34 and 36 degrees Celsius on Friday. That is, the temperature is felt close to the heat wave. The maximum temperature in Sirajganj was 36.5 degrees Celsius.
The maximum temperature in the capital rose to 35 degrees Celsius. Rangamati has received the most rain on this day; 27 millimeters. Light to moderate rains have been received in most parts of Chittagong division. It has rained 6 millimeters in the capital.
It did not rain in the rest of the country. The relative humidity of the air was about 90 percent. In such humidity the feeling of heat is more. Today, Saturday and tomorrow, Sunday, similar heat problems can be felt.
According to the monitoring of the Flood Forecasting and Warning Center, water rose in 16 out of 116 points of all the rivers in the country on Friday. It is decreasing in the rest. All rivers are below danger level.
