With Rickelton's first double, Varrainer's century puts Pakistan under pressure

Ryan Rickelton was just 24 runs away from a double century. This Protea batsman achieved his first double century in the 10th test of his career. With Kyle Vareiner's century, South Africa built a mountain of runs. Pakistan is under pressure.

South Africa were bowled out for 615 on the second day of the Cape Town Test (Saturday). In response, Pakistan lost 3 wickets for just 64 runs in the first innings. Babar Azam is 31 and Mohammad Rizwan is unbeaten on 9 runs.

San Masood 2, Kamran Ghulam 13 and Saud Shakeel left the field with zero runs. Then Babar-Rizwan took the lead. Kagiso Rabada took 2 wickets.

Earlier, the Proteas started the day with 4 wickets for 316 runs. Rickelton hit two hundred with 24 fours and 1 six. He was dismissed for 259 runs off 343 balls. This is his career best innings.
