Woman killed by Kubir's bus

A woman was killed after being hit by a bus of Comilla University (Kubi). The accident took place on Wednesday (August 21) around 11 am in Nandanpur area adjacent to Kotbari Bishwa Road.

The deceased Fazilatunnecha (60) resident of Balrampur, Comilla is said to be the wife of deceased Jamal Mia.

Confirming the matter, Kotbari police outpost SI Morshed Alam said that the university bus hit an autorickshaw. We are talking to eyewitnesses, details will be given later.

Our bus was coming from the city towards the university and an autorickshaw was coming from the opposite side towards Kotbari Bishwaroad. The driver said the auto was speeding. However, the deceased woman did not fall in front of the bus. He may have hit the back of the bus. We are trying to collect CCTV footage of the vicinity.
