A woman’s surprise after learning that her boyfriend had been complimenting a loaf of bread, instead of her extravagant evening outfit, has left viewers online in stitches.

The woman, Felicity Irvine, shared a candid video of her amusement after learning what had really caught her partner’s eye to TikTok on October 16. The video, which shows Irvine trying out a long dress against the backdrop of her boyfriend gushing over what was later revealed to be food, has been viewed more than 1.4 million times. Viewers online were able to see the 24-year-old creator modeling a floor-length burgundy dress, which she had paired with black kitten heels. While she showed off the gown in her selfie camera, her boyfriend could be heard saying, “oh my God, this is insane,” in the background.
