WWE Bash in Berlin 2024: How to Watch, Predictions, And More

Bash in Berlin is almost here, and since it’s going to be WWE’s first Premium Live Event (PLE) in Germany, expect it to start off with a bang.

Let’s take a closer look at how and when to watch the event, who will be battling each other, and what to expect from the five matches planned for WWE Bash in Berlin 2024.

How To Watch

Since Bash in Berlin will be taking place in Germany, American viewers are going to have to get up very early in the morning to take part in this PLE.

In the United States, Bash in Berlin is set to air on Peacock at 9:30 a.m. PT/12:30 p.m. ET. Outside of the US, the PLE can be viewed on the WWE Network.

Match Predictions

Undisputed WWE Championship: Cody Rhodes (c) vs. Kevin Owens

Having Cody Rhodes lose the title before SummerSlam seems like a bad idea. Rhodes is arguably the biggest pure baby face in wrestling at the moment, and it doesn’t look like Kevin Owens is going to be the person who topples him.

Still, this is going to be an excellent match. Owens and Rhodes are fantastic and they have proven that they work well together.

Winner: Cody Rhodes retains

World Heavyweight Championship: GUNTHER (c) vs. Randy Orton

Another seemingly obvious outcome with two excellent wrestlers. GUNTHER and Randy Orton already had a great match for King of the Ring, but the finish left some ambiguity over GUNTHER’s victory since Orton’s shoulders weren’t all the way on the mat.

Expect that mistake to be corrected at Bash in Berlin. GUNTHER is considered the hometown hero, and he’s going to come out on top to cement himself as a World Champion-caliber talent.

Winner: GUNTHER retains.

WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship: The Unholy Union (Alba Fyre & Isla Dawn) (c) vs. Bianca Belair & Jade Cargill

Of all the matches on the card, this is the most questionable. Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill are making their return after surprisingly losing the title to the Unholy Union at Clash at the Castle.

Right now, WWE has a good amount of exciting women’s tag teams, like Damage CTRL, Katana Chance & Kayden Carter, and the Pure Fusion Collective.

That being said, WWE wants to build up Cargill and Belair. People are predicting a turn at some point, so the two could face each other at WrestleMania. The question is whether it happens sooner or later.

Personally, I don’t think that Cargill and Belair need the title. It’d be great to see WWE continue to build the women’s tag division.

Winner: Unholy Union retain

The Terror Twins (Rhea Ripley & Damian Priest) vs. The Judgement Day (Liv Morgan & Dominik Mysterio)

Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest have consistently been dominant against Dominik Mysterio and Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan. After being turned on by Dirty Dom and the Judgement Day, the Terror Twins are ready for revenge.

But not yet.

This is one of the most popular stories in wrestling, and WWE is going to milk it for all its worth. For that to happen, the Terror Twins will have to take another loss before they start to rise again to the main event picture. Don’t be surprised to see Finn Balor get involved.

Winner: The Judgement Day

CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre

This is another tough match to predict, since it’s obvious the story will continue well after Bash in Berlin no matter the outcome. At this point, Drew McIntyre seems to have all the momentum after his victory at SummerSlam.

However, the unofficial rules of wrestling at this point seem to dictate that CM Punk will bring home the win. Not only has Punk lost every match to McIntyre, but Punk hasn’t won a solo match since his return to WWE. It’s time to rectify that and make this matchup even more interesting.

Winner: CM Punk

Who Will LA Knight Face in the WWE US Championship Open Challenge?

On Aug. 23, WWE United States Champion LA Knight announced an open challenge for his title after defeating Santos Escobar to retain.

Because Smackdown will be in Germany, it’s most likely we’ll see Ludwig Kaiser try and take the title off of Knight. GUNTHER is considered the hometown hero for the event, but he’s Austrian while Kaiser is actually German. He won’t win, but it would still be a fantastic match.

That being said, AJ Styles is a longtime rival of Knight’s, and he’d be more than willing to make the trip to Berlin to attack the champion. After all, he already flew all the way to Australia to do the same.

Still, I think it’s more likely that the actual match will be between Knight and Kaiser with Styles getting involved afterward.
