A young man named Saiful Islam Sagar died after drowning in flood rescue work in Feni. However, his body has not yet reached his native Lakshmipur.
On Friday (August 23) at noon, the member of Ward No. 2 of Karpara Union of Ramganj Upazila. Yunus confirmed this.
The deceased is the son of Shaheed Ullah of Alim Uddin Bepari Bari No. 2 Shyampur area of Karpara Union of Sagar Upazila.
UP member Yunchu said Sagar used to work in a factory in Chittagong and also as a construction worker. As flood conditions are unusual, volunteers come to Feni to work with the team. Unable to swim in the sea, he drowned.
According to family sources, Sagar came to Feni from Chittagong. He died while doing social work. Currently Sagar's body is in Feni. They said that it will take some time to bring the body.
