1 person died due to dengue fever in the last one day across the country. And during this period, 950 people were admitted to the hospital due to dengue. This information was known from the press release of the Health and Emergency Operation Center and Control Room of the Department of Health on Sunday (October 19).
According to the press release, 245 people have died of dengue this year and 59 thousand 849 people have been admitted to the hospital.
The notification also said that among the patients admitted to hospital due to dengue in the last 24 hours, 191 people were in Barisal Division (outside City Corporation), 118 people in Chittagong Division (outside City Corporation), 132 people in Dhaka Division (outside City Corporation), 154 people in Dhaka North City Corporation, 129 people in Dhaka South City Corporation, 67 people in Khulna Division (outside City Corporation), 67 people in Mymensingh Division. (City Corporation) 56 patients, Rajshahi Division (outside City Corporation) 83 and Rangpur Division (outside City Corporation) 20 patients.
According to the information of the department, 10 people died of dengue this year in January, three in February, seven in April, three in May, 19 in June, 41 in July, 39 in August. However, no patient died in March. Apart from this, 1161 people were infected with dengue in January, 374 people in February, 336 people in March, 701 people in April, 1773 people in May, 5951 people in June, 10 thousand 684 people in July, 10 thousand 496 people in August and 76 people died in September. Which is the highest number in a month this year. And 15 thousand 866 people were affected.
