10 crore relief came to BNP fund in 5 days

The relief fund of BNP formed in cooperation with flood affected people has received 10 crore relief in 5 days, the party said.

Professor AZM Zahid Hossain, a member of BNP's standing committee, said that people from all walks of life, including a large number of party leaders, have responded greatly to BNP's flood relief fund. In the last 5 days, relief worth more than 10 crore rupees including 2.5 crore rupees in cash has been collected and distributed to the flood affected areas. Apart from the central relief aid center, the leaders and activists of various district BNP and organ organizations have continued to provide relief for the last 10 days.

He said these things in a press conference at the central office in Nayapaltan on Friday.

Zahid Hossain said, the flood water has already started receding, as a result of which the disease will increase in the flood-affected areas so that our doctors and various pharmaceutical companies are distributing medicines in those areas. Ziaur Rahman Foundation and DAB doctors are purchasing and supplying medicines.

He said that the people of all levels of the country have continued to supply dry food, children's clothes, clothes used by people, candles, diyashalai, clean water to help the people affected by the floods in the southeastern region. He said that people from all walks of life including rickshaw pullers, school-college students, madrasa students are helping the BNP relief fund. He said that BNP will also work for the rehabilitation of flood affected people.
