Bangladesh Road Transport Authority (BRTA) has conducted mobile courts on roads and highways in different areas of the country to prevent road accidents and strengthen road discipline. A fine of Tk 10 lakh 36 thousand 100 has been collected in 405 cases for various crimes in the campaign. And 15 cars were sent to dumping.
On Friday (April 19) eight executive magistrates performed duties in these operations.
BRTA Chairman Noor Mohammad Majumdar said that BRTA Executive Magistrates conducted operations through mobile court on regional roads and national highways in eight divisions to prevent road accidents, enforce order on roads, control illegal nasimons, karimons, three wheelers, unfit motor vehicles, unlicensed motorcycles and over speed. which will continue. Illegal vehicles will not be allowed on the road.
BRTA spoke out to prevent series of road accidents after Eid. Following this, the state transport regulator decided to conduct a series of operations through mobile courts from April 17 to April 30. Besides, the organization has also requested the local administration to conduct operations across the country.
