A warning issued by the Meteorological Office for the internal river ports of the country till 1 pm on Monday (August 19) has informed about this fear.

The notification signed by Tariful Newaz Kabir said, temporary gusty or windy conditions from south or south-east at 45 to 60 km per hour over Dhaka, Faridpur, Madaripur, Khulna, Jessore, Barisal, Patuakhali, Noakhali, Comilla, Chittagong and Cox's Bazar districts. The wind can blow. Rain or thundershowers may also occur.

Therefore, the river ports of these areas have been asked to show warning signal number 1.

Meanwhile, another weather bulletin said, the low pressure created in the Bay of Bengal has condensed and turned into a distinct low pressure. In this situation, rain may occur in all parts of the country for the next few days. At this time, moderate to very heavy rainfall may occur in different parts of the country.
