194 arrests in joint forces operation across the country

In order to keep law and order under control in the current situation of the country, the joint forces have arrested 194 people suspected of involvement in various crimes.

Highlighting this information, a circular of Inter-Army Public Relations Department-ISPR said that the Bangladesh Army is working with professionalism. In continuation of this, from October 30, 2025 to November 6, units under various infantry divisions and separate brigades of the Bangladesh Army have conducted several joint operations in various areas of the country including the capital in coordination with other law enforcement forces.

ISPR has given the information of arresting a total of 194 people including terrorists, drug dealers and drug addicts in these joint operations.

According to the notification issued on Thursday (November 6), 9 illegal firearms, 7 pistol magazines, 12 rounds of different types of ammunition, 18 cocktails, 23 petrol bombs, domestic and foreign drugs, domestic and foreign sharp weapons were recovered from the arrested criminals. The arrested persons have been handed over to the police stations of the respective areas for necessary interrogation and completion of legal proceedings.

Bangladesh Army is conducting regular patrolling and security activities in various areas to ensure public safety across the country. Besides, the army is directly involved in controlling labor unrest in industrial areas.

According to the notification, such operations will be continued by the Bangladesh Army to maintain the overall law and order situation in the country. The general public is requested to report any suspicious activity to the nearest army camp.
