2 brothers died due to lightning in Kalihati, Tangail. Four others were injured. Today Saturday (May 18) around 9 o'clock in the morning, the incident took place in Nuabari village of Kalihati Upazila's Bir Beshayan Union.
The deceased are Afzal Hossain and Amir Hossain. Their home is in Pirganj upazila of Dinajpur. Cousins about the victims.
Sohrab Hossain, chairman of the Union Parishad, a resident of Bir, said that in the morning, some workers went to harvest paddy in Hazrat Ali's field. At this time there was thunder with drizzle. Two people died on the spot. 4 others were injured. They were rescued and admitted to the Upazila Health Complex.
