Two people named Golam Rabbi (38) and Rezwan (32) were killed in a collision between two trucks at Ghoraghat in Dinajpur. They are the driver and assistant of a truck involved in an accident.
The accident took place at the T&T junction area of Dinajpur-Gobindganj highway of Ghoraghat upazila at around 6 am on Friday (April 26).
The deceased truck driver Golam Rabbi is a resident of Choumuhani area of Sadar Upazila of Joypurhat. His assistant Rezwan hails from the same area.
It is learned that one of the two trucks was loaded with corn and the other was loaded with fertilizer. Two trucks collided head-on at T&T intersection. The two deceased were the driver and assistant of the corn-laden truck.
Confirming the matter, Ghoraghat Police Station Officer OC Asaduzzaman said that two people were killed in a head-on collision between two trucks at the T&T intersection of the upazila between 5:30 and 6:00 in the morning. We recovered two bodies. If the victim's family files a complaint, legal action will be taken.
