2 The angry crowd threw shoes at the election commissioner's car

Angry crowd threw shoes at the car of the recently resigned Election Commissioners. When leaving EC in the car allocated for the commissioners, the scattered crowd outside this Election Commissioner Begum Rashida Sultana and Md. Anishur Rahman threw shoes at his car.

Chief Election Commissioner Kazi Habibul Awal along with four other commissioners resigned on Thursday (September 5) at 12 noon in exchange of courtesy with journalists. Rasheda and Anichur were not present at the press conference. While leaving the EC building, the two commissioners fell in front of the angry crowd.

The Chief Election Commissioner was in favor of the participation of all parties in the last election. Awami League won 223, independent 56, Jatiya Party 11, Jasad, Workers Party and Kalyan Party won one seat each out of 299 seats in the one-party twelfth national parliament election. This election was basically between one party.
