3 were injured by rubber bullets while moving

Three youths were injured by rubber bullets fired by miscreants in Kamthana village of Lohagra upazila of Narail. The attack took place near Kamthana New Para Bridge around 8:30 pm on Sunday (August 18).

Two of the injured have been admitted to the Lohagarh 50-bed Upazila Health Complex. One person has been sent to Khulna Medical College Hospital, Lohagara Upazila Health Complex's emergency department doctor Tanni Khanam said.

The injured are Sohag Sikder (35) son of Mizan Sikder of Charkarfa village of the upazila, Mithun Sikder (32) son of Choban Sikder of the same village and Leon Sikder (30) son of Obaidur Sikder.

Lohagara Upazila Health Complex emergency department doctor Tanni Khanam said that three people were injured by rubber bullets. One of them has been sent to Khulna Medical College Hospital.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Lohagarh police station Kanchan Kumar Roy said, 'I myself went to the spot. I still do not know the reason for the attack.'
