Since the fall of the Awami League government on August 5 in the face of the student movement, there has been a reshuffle at the top of the police force. In continuation of this, 30 officers of the rank of Additional Superintendent of Police of Bangladesh Police have been promoted as Superintendent of Police (SP).
On Tuesday (August 20) by the order of the President, the Deputy Secretary of Police-1 Branch of the Public Security Department of the Ministry of Home Affairs. A notification signed by Mahabur Rahman Sheikh informed about their promotion.
Earlier last Sunday (August 18) 73 police officers were promoted to the post of Supernumerary Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG).
