34 mosques in Iran are getting ready to get the status of world heritage

Iran wants to inscribe the names of the country's historical mosques as a collective property in the UNESCO World Heritage List. Project manager Abdur Rasool Vatandoost announced the launch of the massive project, describing it as Iran's most important cultural heritage initiative in the past 50 years.
