4 more murder cases against Sheikh Hasina


Four more murder cases have been filed against former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and several former Awami League ministers and police officers in four separate courts in Dhaka. With three new cases in Dhaka, the number of cases against Sheikh Hasina now stands at 70. These include 60 cases of murder, seven cases of crimes against humanity and genocide, two cases of kidnapping and one case of attack on a BNP rally.

Among them, the first case was filed against Sheikh Hasina and 49 people in connection with the killing of Dulal alias Salim at Jatrabari in the capital on August 3 during the anti-discrimination student movement. The victim's brother Mustafa Kamal became the plaintiff Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate. He made this case in Saddam Hussein's court.

The second case was filed against Sheikh Hasina and 22 people in connection with the death of Mansoor Mia, the machine operator of Buriganga filling station in Basila, Mohammadpur on July 19. Ainal Haque, the brother of the deceased, filed this case in the court of Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Rahesh Chowdhury as the plaintiff.

The third case was filed against Sheikh Hasina and 92 people in connection with the death of Miraj Hossain in Sanarpara of Demra area of ​​Narayanganj on August 5. The deceased's brother Khorshed Alam filed this case in the court of Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Belal Hossain as the plaintiff.

The fourth case was filed against Sheikh Hasina and 41 people in connection with the death of Nahidul Islam at Mirpur-10 on July 19. The deceased's brother Sabuj filed this case in the court of Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Mehedi Hasan as the plaintiff.
