48-hour ultimatum to Chambiprabir's vice-chancellor to resign

Chandpur University of Science and Technology Vice-Chancellor Dr. Md. If Naseem Akhtar does not resign, Chambiprabi Chhatra Samaj has warned to call for mass agitation against all the students of Chandpur.

The Chandpur Comilla Highway Block Program is being implemented from Saturday (August 17) in the wake of the week-long agitation demanding the resignation of the Vice-Chancellor.

The students said that on Sunday (August 18), the delegation from DC office and SP office spoke to them. They asked for three days. We have given 2 days ie 48 hours. If he is not deposed within these 48 hours, a mass movement will be called along with Chambiprabi students' society and local people of Chandpur and students of other schools and colleges of Chandpur. During these two days all the administrative progress will be monitored by key students.

Among the demands given by them, the administration of Chandpur should ensure the safety of key students. No student may be threatened by mobile phone or directly. Besides, after the removal of the vice-chancellor and registrar, they should be banned from going abroad and all financial transactions of the university for the last four financial years should be investigated.

Meanwhile, regarding the vice chancellor, the agitating students said that two days ago, he called our movement drama by sending messages on the mobile phones of the teachers and called the closure of the American embassy in Bangladesh as a bad sign for him.
