5 medical colleges got new principals

The government has appointed new principals in five medical colleges of the country including Dhaka Medical College.

This information was informed in a notification signed by Dur-Ray Shahwaz, Deputy Secretary of Personnel-1 Branch of Health Education and Family Welfare Department of the Ministry of Health on Wednesday (August 28).

According to the announcement, Dhaka Medical Department of Thoracic Surgery Professor Dr. Md. Dr. Kamrul Alam, Professor of Medicine Department of Chittagong Medical College. Mohammad Jasim Uddin and Professor of Microbiology Department of Rajshahi Medical College Dr. Khandaker Md. Faisal Alam has been appointed as the acting principal of the respective college.

Apart from this, Dr. Comilla Medical College professor of ear, nose and throat department. Md. Dr. Mazharul Shaheen at Sir Salimullah Medical College and Barisal Sher-i Bangla Medical College, Endocrinology Department Professor. Md. Azizul Haque has been appointed as the Principal of Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmad Medical College, Gazipur.

In this notification issued by order of the President, it is mentioned that these officers of BCS (Health) cadre have been posted in the mentioned posts and posts till further orders.
