The police stopped the protesting job aspirants in the capital towards Ganobhaban to raise the working age to 35.
It is reported that the job aspirants took a march from Raju Bhaskarya towards Gana Bhavan around 3 pm on Saturday. 35 aspirants gathered from different parts of the country including Chittagong, Comilla, Manikganj, Gazipur. When the march came in front of Shahbagh police station, they were stopped by the police.
Earlier, job aspirants started gathering from 12 noon today. At that time, talking to several 35 aspirants, it is known that after Education Minister Mahibul Hasan Chowdhury Naufel sent a letter to the Ministry of Public Administration demanding 35 years, the 35 aspirants are thinking about continuous programs. Today's rally has been announced as part of that.
Note that currently the age limit for applying for government jobs is 30 years. For a long time, students and job seekers have been demanding that the age limit for applying for government jobs be increased to 35 years.
