55 thousand 116 pilgrims arrived in Saudi, one more death

Since the start of Hajj flights this year, 55 thousand 116 pilgrims from Bangladesh have reached Saudi Arabia. In addition, on Friday (May 31) Md. Another person named Nurul Alam (61) died. His house is in Ramu, Cox's Bazar. Nine pilgrims from Bangladesh died in Saudi Arabia due to this. This information is known from the daily bulletin of IT helpdesk on Hajj portal on Sunday (June 2).

The bulletin also said that a total of 55,116 pilgrims had reached Saudi Arabia till 2:30 am on Saturday. Among them, 3 thousand 747 pilgrims of government management and 51 thousand 369 pilgrims of private management. So far 141 flights have been operated to Saudi Arabia.

Hajj may be held on June 16. The first flight of pilgrims to Saudi Arabia started on May 9. This Hajj flight will continue till June 10. After the end of Hajj, the return flight will start from June 20. The return flight will end on July 22.

This year, a total of 85 thousand 257 Bangladeshis will go for Hajj by government and private management. Among them, 4 thousand 562 people are under government management and 80 thousand 695 people are under private management through agencies.
