It said that between 5:00 am and 1:00 pm on Thursday, temporary gusty or gale force winds with rain and thundershower will blow over various areas of Rangpur, Bogra, Tangail, Mymensingh, Comilla and Sylhet regions from west and north-west at a speed of 45-60 km per hour. can

The river ports in these areas have been asked to display warning signal number 1. Meanwhile, the three-day weather report extended at night said that many places in Rangpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions will be affected in the next 24 hours. Some places of Dhaka and Chittagong divisions and a few places of Rajshahi, Khulna and Barisal divisions may experience light to moderate rain and thundershowers with temporary gusty winds. Apart from this, moderate to heavy rainfall may occur at some places in Rangpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions.

During this time, mild heat wave will pass over Tangail, Faridpur, Manikganj, Rajshahi, Pabna, Jessore, Chuadanga and Kushtia districts and it may continue. However, due to rain, the day temperature may drop slightly in the northern part of the country. Besides, it may remain almost unchanged elsewhere in the country. Night temperatures may remain almost unchanged across the country.
