20 million pilgrims in Mina will go to Arafat Maidan

More than two million devout Muslims from all over the world stayed in Mina, Saudi Arabia yesterday (June 14). At this time, they performed prayers and other worships in their respective tents in Mina. They will go to Arafat Maidan after performing Fajr prayer on Saturday. News of Arab News.

From the beginning, the Saudi authorities have been watching to ensure that the pilgrims do not have to face any trouble in performing the various rituals of Hajj. Various measures have already been taken for this purpose.

According to the Saudi Press Agency, the pilgrims were able to reach their destination easily due to the efficient traffic and security planning of the relevant authorities.

The Saudi Ministry of Health has employed more than 34,000 doctors, nurses, pharmacists and administrative staff to ensure the health of the pilgrims. Apart from this, 730 ambulances and seven air ambulances have been kept in 189 hospitals, medical centers and mobile clinics dedicated to the services of Hajj pilgrims. Till Tuesday, more than 70 thousand pilgrims have received treatment from these health centers.

Prior to this, the holy Hajj ceremony started on Friday (June 14). Hajj begins on the 8th of Zilhaj, the last month of the Arabic calendar. Then 9 Zilhaj is the day of Arafat. And pilgrims perform animal sacrifice on 10 Zilhaj. After the Qurbani, there are two more days of various Hajj ceremonies. That means it takes five days to complete Hajj.

This year, more than two million Muslims from all over the world participated in Hajj. 82 thousand 772 people have gone for Hajj from Bangladesh.
