An indefinite curfew from 6 p.m

The government has once again imposed an indefinite curfew as the quota movement turned violent across the country.

The evening law will be in force in all departmental headquarters, city corporations, municipalities, industrial areas, district headquarters and upazila headquarters from 6 pm on Sunday until further notice.

This matter was confirmed in the press release of the Ministry of Home Affairs on Sunday. The notice was signed by Sharif Mahmud Apu, senior information officer of the ministry.

The government imposed a curfew from midnight on July 19 amid violence in the quota movement. Then slowly relax.

Curfew was relaxed from 6 am to 9 pm in Dhaka, Gazipur, Narayanganj and Narsingdi on Saturday.

But violence spread across the country in one phase of the quota agitator's program. In view of this, curfew was announced again for an indefinite period.
