Provocative speech: BNP leader Dulu's demotion

BNP Chairperson Advisory Council member Ruhul Quddus Talukder Dulu has been demoted and made a member of the party's executive committee.

A letter in this regard signed by BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi has been given to Dulu on Sunday (August 18) night. This information is known from the source of the central office of BNP.

Recently, in view of a controversial statement by Dulu, this organizational disciplinary action was taken against him by the BNP as the response to the show cause notice was not satisfactory. Dulu served as Deputy Minister of Lands during the BNP government.

Incidentally, on Thursday (August 15) in front of the district BNP office in Alaipur, Natore city, during the sit-in program of the students and the people, the adviser of the party's chairperson Ruhul Quddus Talukdar Dulu warned, “If the picture and speech of the murderer Hasina is published in the TV-magazine, it will be burnt”.

In view of this statement, the party issued a show cause notice to him on Saturday (August 17). The notice directed to submit a written reply to the Nayapaltan central office of BNP within 24 hours.

The team's letter to Dulu said, 'Due to your comments, you have been asked to respond to Shokaj within 24 hours. The reply you gave on Sunday (August 18) is not satisfactory. Therefore, you have been removed from the post of BNP Chairperson's Advisory Council member and nominated only as a member of the National Executive Committee for giving that statement against the principles and ideals of the party.
