Jalal Yunus resigns as BCB director – Bangladesh Diplomat

Ever since the interim government took charge, there has been a wind of change in all areas of the country. The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) is feeling the same. Jalal Yunus has resigned from the post of BCB director.

Jalal Yunus was in charge of BCB's cricket management chief. He resigned from that position on Monday (August 19). Jalal has sent his resignation letter to the National Sports Council (NSC).

Apart from this, another director Ahmed Sazzadul Alam has also been asked to resign from NSC. Both of them were NSC nominated directors in BCB.

Earlier, Akram Khan resigned as the head of cricket operations in 2021 and Jalal Younus was replaced by Nazmul Hasan Papon. Since then Jalal has been in this position of BCB for the last 4 years. Before that, he served as the Chairman of BCB Media Committee for a long time.

Meanwhile, not only Jalal Yunus, BCB chief Papon's resignation rumors are also strong. It is known that he will officially announce his resignation within the next two days. The discussion is more about who will sit in his chair than Papon's resignation.
