Awami League joint general secretary and former social welfare minister Dr. Dipu Moni has been arrested by the police.
He was arrested from Baridhara in the capital on Monday (August 19) evening.
This information has been confirmed by the media and public relations department of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP).
