Abolition of 'Father of the Nation' will not have birth certificate: Kader Siddiqui

Founder President of Krishak Sramik Janata League Bangbir Quader Siddiqui said, 'Sheikh Hasina and Bangabandhu are not the same. Bangabandhu is the father of Bangladesh. The parliament has been cancelled, the upazila and municipality have been cancelled, will you cancel Bangabandhu? His name is Father; the father of the state If the father of the state is to be annulled, the child will not have a birth certificate.

He said these things at a public meeting organized by Upazila Krishak Sramik Janata League at Taltala Chatter of Tangail Sakhipur Municipality on Monday (August 19) evening.

Kader Siddiqui said, 'The condition of the country is not good at all. I like Professor Yunus very much. When there was danger with his Grameen Bank, I repeatedly went to him, encouraged him. I told Sheikh Hasina too, you are not doing a good job by cutting the tail of such a person. You help him, you arrange for him to travel around the world, it will benefit you. But no, he cut his tail, now Sheikh Hasina's tail has been cut. What do I have to do now?'

He also said, 'My car broke down that day (August 15). A barbed wire fence was placed in front of Bangabandhu's house. Some people are telling me that people of Jamaat-Shibir broke your car. I said – I know them, I have talked to many of them. The leaders of the Islamic movement, Charmonai, keep me like a shadow, I don't think that the people of Jamaat-Shibir broke my car. Some said – you criticize Tariq Rahman, BNP people broke your car. I told them – BNP people consider me to be guru means master. How am I supposed to think they broke into my car!'

Addressing the leaders of the anti-discrimination student movement, he said, 'Those who have made a movement have created a world-wide history. But if they cannot control it, their situation will not be better than Hasina's situation today. The simplicity and honesty that I have seen in my student friends has not been seen in the rule of this thief in the last 30 years. Every day when you open the car, you get bags of money, all ministers are thieves, people do not make them leaders to steal.'

At this time, he added, 'I used to always say jokingly – I have established the right of people to eat rice, I have established the right to vote. They established the right to vote by stealing the votes of all the people. Couldn't even vote for one person three times.'

Criticizing Sheikh Hasina's son Sajib Wazed Joy, Quader Siddiqui said, 'Brother Joy, whatever you say, father, it hurts the people who are here. Those who were in your mother's shoes, do not live now. Don't increase people's suffering by saying one thing in the morning and another in the afternoon. Learn manners and grow up. He is not called big if he sits and talks in America.'

Criticizing BNP, he said, don't think that BNP has come to power because the students have won the anti-discrimination movement. If the people don't support, you will be in the same situation as Sheikh Hasina is today. The country does not belong to Awami League, it does not belong to BNP, it does not belong to Jamaat, it does not belong to 14 parties, it is a country of 180 million people. Learn to respect those 18 crore people. Those who do not respect people have no right to do politics.

The general secretary of Upazila Krishak Sramik Janata League, former mayor Sanwar Hossain Sajib, adviser Jasim Uddin, general secretary of the district committee of the party, Abu Salek Hitlu, Shaon Akhter Molly and others also spoke in the public meeting.
