Those who were removed from Moulvibazar All Bengal

Like the rest of the country, Moulvibazar also removed the district council chairman, seven upazila chairmen and five municipal mayors.

Those removed by the order of the interim government are – Moulvibazar Zilla Parishad Chairman Alhaj Michbahur Rahman. Seven Upazila Parishad Chairman is-

Moulvibazar Sadar Upazila Parishad Chairman Md. Kamal Hossain, Rajnagar Upazila Parishad Chairman Shahjahan Khan, Srimangal Upazila Parishad Chairman Bhanu Lal Roy, Kamalganj Upazila Parishad Chairman Imtiaz Hossain Bulbul, Kulaura Upazila Parishad Chairman Fazlul Haque Khan Saheed, Juri Upazila Parishad Chairman Kishore Roy Chowdhury Moni and Baralekha Upazila Parishad Chairman Azir Uddin. .

The five mayors are – Alhaj Fazlur Rahman, Mayor of Moulvibazar Municipality, Mohsin Mia Madhu, Mayor of Srimangal Municipality, Jewel Ahmed, Mayor of Kamalganj Municipality, Sipar Uddin Ahmed, Mayor of Kulaura Municipality and Abu Imam Kamran Chowdhury, Mayor of Baralekha Municipality.

Meanwhile, after the removal of the chairman of the seven upazila parishads of the district, it is reported that the upazila executive officers of those upazilas have been appointed as administrators.

Also, District Commissioner has been given the responsibility of District Council. Moulvibazar Sadar Municipality has been given the responsibility of Deputy Director of Local Government Department, Srimangal Municipality has been given the responsibility of Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue), Kulaura Municipality has been given the responsibility of Additional Deputy Commissioner (General), Kamalganj Municipality has been given the responsibility of Additional Deputy Commissioner (Education and ICT). And Assistant Commissioner (Lands) has been given charge of Baralekha municipality.
