11 officers including 10 Superintendents of Police have been withdrawn

11 officers including superintendents of police of 10 districts have been withdrawn from their respective posts.

On Wednesday (August 21) by order of the President, Deputy Secretary of Public Security Department of the Ministry. This information has been informed in a notification signed by Mahabur Rahman Sheikh.

Superintendents of Police of Chittagong, Kishoreganj, Manikganj, Bagerhat, Magura, Natore, Sirajganj, Gaibandha, Habiganj and Patuakhali districts were withdrawn. Besides, a Deputy Commissioner of Sylhet Metropolitan Police has been transferred to the post of Superintendent of Police in Rajshahi Range.

The notification said that this order will be implemented immediately.
Earlier, the Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of seven ranges of Bangladesh Police and the police commissioner of five metropolitan areas have been transferred.
