The fire in the building in Dhanmondi is under control

A fire in a residential building on road number 5 of Dhanmondi has been brought under control.

The fire service said that the fire was brought under control on Wednesday (August 21) around 11:30 am.

Before this, a fire broke out on the eighth floor of the 12-storey building at around 10:25 am on Wednesday.

Fire Service and Civil Defense Headquarters Duty Officer Lima Khanom confirmed this information to RisingBD.

He said that after receiving the information about the fire, two units of the fire service went to the spot. Four more units joined later.
